What is the Teen Zone at Great Beginnings?
It’s a new extension of our regular office geared specifically for teens (Asheville only at the moment). This new space is directly across the parking lot from our main office and much more accommodating for older kids (13-21). When your teen checks in we’ll give them an iPad to play around with while they wait. Did we mention they can see the same Great Beginnings dentist they’ve always had growing up too? Since the new space is only a few feet away we can shuffle the doctors back and forth to keep your family with the same dentist.
Here’s another exciting part: We’re also planning to use the space for teen-only evening educational seminars. We’re working on getting speakers lined up, but the short seminars will cover topics such as basic personal finances, college application tips, and healthy eating. Feel free to suggest more when you come in too!
How do I make the switch to the new office for my teens?
We’re making it very easy. Call in for an appointment to our regular office number as usual. Just mention the teen zone and our friendly schedulers will kindly get you setup. When you show up for the appointment you can go straight across the lot to the new space (office #: 10A), or you can pop into the regular office and ask the receptionist where to go as well.
Important Update: At the moment we are only taking Teen Zone appointments for select Wednesdays of each month as we get situated. Spaces are filling up fast, so book early!
